DonMattrick Tweets are Fake

Don A. Mattrick is the Senior Vice President of Interactive Entertainment Business, Entertainment and Devices Division. This Twitter account surfaced a couple of days ago. To some, simply the name was enough to take tweets as true and accurate but something seemed funny when only tweets giving away key information about various products and services were being sent out.

The tweet that HRI was interested in  was, well, the one about Halo: Reach..

The Tweet would have confirmed that a shiny new engine would be used on Halo: Reach. Needless to say, this account is a fake. Microsoft’s people have contacted twitter and the account is likely to removed. Who’s to say that Halo: Reach won’t run on a new engine though?
